Discounted tickets to WAN events – WAN hosts networking and professional development events throughout the year, many of which have ticketed entry.  Current WAN members can purchase tickets at a discounted price (usually 30% off).

Early-bird registration for space-limited events – Popular WAN events such as Speed Mentoring and the Potomac Cruise provide an intimate networking atmosphere by restricting the number of attendees. For these space-limited events, WAN members will receive early-bird registration access.

Access to member-only events - WAN is happy to provide events such as mentor dinners for members, providing exclusive opportunities to engage with leaders in marine, coastal, and aquatic fields, as well as other members.

Making a Difference – WAN members can feel good knowing they are supporting the work of a great volunteer-led organization with a 25 year history of connecting marine professionals around ocean issues in the Washington, DC, area. Thanks to the support of members, WAN can continue to provide free and low-cost activities for everyone.
