Why Donate to WAN?
The Women's Aquatic Network (WAN) is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that brings together professionals with interest in marine, coastal, and aquatic affairs. Membership and participation are open to all.
The purpose of WAN is to facilitate networking by providing opportunities for professionals with interests in marine, coastal, and aquatic affairs in an atmosphere that encourages information exchange, career development, and fellowship. WAN members are scientists, lawyers, policy-makers, natural resource managers and advocates, maritime transportation interests, entrepreneurs, academics, lobbyists, and many other professions. Members work in government, legislatures, private sector, academia, and non-governmental organizations.
Note: As a 501c3 Non-Profit, contributions or gifts to WAN are tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
