The Women's Aquatic Network (WAN) is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that brings together professionals with interest in marine, coastal, and aquatic affairs and promotes the roles of women and all who seek equity in these fields. Membership and participation are open to people of all gender identities.

The purpose of WAN is to facilitate networking by providing opportunities for professionals with interests in marine, coastal, and aquatic affairs in an atmosphere that encourages information exchange, career development, and fellowship. WAN promotes the role of women and those who seek equity in marine, coastal and aquatic affairs through information exchange and mentoring.

When you choose to become a member of WAN, whether new or returning, you are supporting an organization that supports the growth and development of women and those that seek equity in marine, coastal, and aquatic fields.
