Jessica Goldstein
Jessica Goldstein is an environmental attorney with policy and litigation experience. She currently works at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in the Office of Enforcement & Compliance Assurance. She was a 2022 Brookings LEGIS Congressional Fellow in Rep. Jared Huffman's (CA-02) office and managed his climate, environment and energy portfolio, staffing him on the Select Committee on the Climate Crisis. Previously, she worked as a public defender in New York at the Legal Aid Society of Westchester County and as a law fellow for a judge on the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Judicial Department.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology & Society from Cornell University and a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law. As an undergraduate science major, she researched saltwater catfish in Papua New Guinea and milkweeds in upstate New York.
Jessica is passionate about tackling the climate crisis and, as an avid scuba diver, she is dedicated to protecting the ocean and coastal communities. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new hiking trails with her dog.
