Speed mentoring provides an opportunity to connect across different professional levels within the DC marine, coastal, and aquatic community. Much like “speed dating,” this event allows individuals to meet one-on-one for a short period of time before moving to the next person in the queue.
At the event, attendees may ask mentors about their career path, seek advice on a professional situation, get thoughts on a project idea, or even ask about maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Mentors span across sectors with different levels of expertise and experience in the marine, coastal, and aquatic community in Washington, D.C.
