WAN will be joining the Potomac Riverkeeper Network and the Anacostia Riverkeeper in their clean up events on April 13. Given our shared missions, these events are basic to enhancing public use and enjoyment of our rivers. Let’s give back!

The 31st annual Alice Ferguson Foundation Clean Up Event will be heldSaturday, April 13 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the National Harbor. All volunteers will receive vouchers for complimentary parking in any of the National Harbor Garages or Carousel Lot (excludes the Gaylord Hotel and any street meters), courtesy of our friends at National Harbor.

The Anacostia River Festival Clean Up 2019 will also be held Saturday, April 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Anacostia Park at Good Hope Rd, as part of the Clean Waterways series. Some parking is available along Anacostia Drive and Aviation Drive. The site is also a 15 minute walk from the Anacostia Metro Station.
