Join us for the D.C. premiere of Confluence at the Carnegie Institution for Science. WAN’s very own Sarah Barmeyer will be providing opening remarks about the National Parks Conservation Association’s work and why we care about the Colorado River. This film follows an up-and-coming indie folk band as they traverse and document this endangered river system in the form of original music. And be sure to stick around after the screening for a discussion with the filmmakers, followed by a set from the band at the heart of the film, The Infamous Flapjack Affair. Tickets are $10, buy them here.
