Megan Greenaway
Megan is the Technical Advisor with the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Office of Coast Survey (OCS). She is responsible for advising management on hydrographic surveying technical issues, field performance and data throughput and is the vice-chair of the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) Hydrographic Surveys Working Group (HSWG).
She has held numerous positions within NOAA over the past 20 years including cartographer, survey technician, and project manager. The NOAA positions have given her the opportunity to travel to unexplored areas in Alaska and to cities around the world.
Megan earned a Masters in Hydrographic Science from the University of Southern Mississippi, a Cat A certified program. While not at work she enjoys traveling and sailing in the Chesapeake Bay.
